About the Role

Responsible for activities related to the construction, building and commissioning on customer site, from site mobilization, through civil, erection and commissioning work, as well as management activities related to this scope.

Responsibilities

  • Site activities related to Piping installation of equipment and plant scope.
  • May lead others directly or indirectly and/or sponsor subcontractors.
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline.
  • Perform detailed material inventory of GE supplied material.
  • Collect material certificate of all piping components.
  • Review welding documents Welding Procedure Specification (WPS), welder qualification before welding activities start.
  • Ensure Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) compliance with Site Quality Supervisor (SQS) for all welding, Nondestructive Testing (NDT) documents.
  • Report cost of non-quality with GE tools: Service-Now, Engineering Request.
  • Perform final inspection of all systems.
  • Document quality plan & inspection sheets timely and follow up red marked-up documentation.
  • Attend systems walk down for turn over to commissioning, follow up punch list item resolution.
  • Document means (personnel man-hours per discipline, cranes, scaffolding) utilized during installation for future budget purpose.
  • Document cost of non-quality.
  • Issue progress report to the Construction Manager or Site Manager and Turn Key / Self Implementation Installation Leader.
  • Issue end of assignment report and edit Lessons Learned.
