About the Role

The Facility Licensing Engineer role is a cross functional discipline that integrates the regulatory and business needs for Global Nuclear Fuel – Americas (GNF-A).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and prepare license applications and supporting regulatory documents.
  • Establish and maintain effective business relationships with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and non-US nuclear regulators.
  • Provide expert knowledge of the US NRC and non-US nuclear rules and regulations for fuel facilities and fuel products.
  • Support resolution of nuclear licensing/regulatory compliance issues.
  • Interface with project teams and regulatory personnel on regulatory issues.
  • Maintain nuclear licensing basis documents and correspondence records.
  • Manage periodic and reactive nuclear regulatory inspections.
  • Participation in Wilmington Emergency Organization (EO) as the Licensing Advisor.
