Tesla is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Facilities Water Engineer to support the industrial water systems (Pure Water and Wastewater) for EV manufacturing processes at Gigafactory Nevada. You will play a critical role on our facilities engineering team supporting and optimizing our brand-new advanced wastewater treatment facility - aiming to close the loop of GFNV water usage by inhouse recycling all generated wastewater in manufacturing processes. Advanced wastewater treatment plant consists of reclamation and concentrate reduction units with state-of-the-art technologies. In addition to wastewater treatment, you will be able to work with pure water systems with reverse osmosis and ion exchange-based water purification systems. As the facilities water engineer, you are expected to be working as a subject matter expert who is responsible for safety, capacity improvement, refining operational tools, process optimization, and structured problem-solving on Pure Water, Industrial Reclaim, Industrial Waste, and Brine Treatment Systems.
