The Manufacturing Automation Development Engineering team is looking for a highly motivated Engineering Technician to build, troubleshoot, and improve custom automation projects at Tesla’s world-class manufacturing facilities. The Engineering Technician works closely with Engineering teams and plays a key role in reducing cost, increasing capacity, and delivering quality manufacturing equipment for Tesla’s cutting-edge products. This is an exciting opportunity to build a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility right here in California. Tesla is a demanding and fast-paced environment where you will work on a critical subsystem of an incredibly exciting product.Additionally, this role will routinely work with Senior Technicians, providing ample opportunities for personal and technical growth. The Engineering Technician team works together to land automation projects and to keep our development spaces organized, well-stocked, and tooled for the job.The ideal candidate takes pride in their hands-on work, craftsmanship, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
