About Tesla

We are looking for a Test Technician to evaluate cell level safety performance during the early design stages across all programs, including vehicle and energy storage. In this role, you will be responsible for safely testing cells of all form factors (cylindrical, pouch and prismatic), developing new test methods and failure analysis techniques, organizing tests for smooth execution, improving test equipment and training technicians on new tests. As a result, Tesla will be able to rapidly evaluate and optimize a broad set of options for cell and pack designs. Our environment is fast-paced and incredibly exciting, so being passionate and self-motivated to push your limits is critical. Our team works with groups across various disciplines and experience, requiring strong communication skills and a team-first mentality. We are looking for someone with an exceptional ability to solve problems in both individual and team settings.
