Redwood Materials was founded in 2017 to create a circular supply chain for electric vehicles and clean energy products, making them more sustainable and driving down the cost for batteries. We’re doing this by developing and deploying new technologies to increase the scope and scale of recycled and sustainable materials in the global battery supply chain.
About the Role
You will be an early member of a new engineering team, responsible for driving the electrical design, development, and integration of a new product at Redwood.
Responsibilities
Lead and execute the electrical system design and development of a large-scale renewable energy solution from concept to deployment.
Select power conversion products, supervisory control modules and balance of system components.
Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, and systems engineers.
Manage engineering projects in a hands-on capacity.
Take a leadership role in recruiting, mentoring, and managing a high-performance electrical engineering team.
Stay up to date on industry advancements and best practices.
Contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced startup culture.
