Responsibilities

• Organizes a team of electricians actively involved in various craft specialties.
• Responsible for shift schedule including work station assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignments, and back up for absent employees.
• Diagnoses, delegates, instructs and carries out skilled activities involving the repair, installation, calibration, and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Guarantees adherence to safety practices and principles.
• Creates and manages work/emergency work orders and prioritizes daily and preventative assignments.
• Monitors production process operating parameters and makes appropriate adjustments.
• Participates in root cause problem solving and equipment performance improvement efforts.
• Supervises and trains employees to accomplish productivity, safety, quality and efficiency objectives.
• Conducts shift meetings and maintains reporting, records and schematics.
• Escalates and communicates operational information and issues promptly.
