About the Role
As a member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing and developing innovative power electronic systems and automation packages.
Responsibilities
Interprets customer and engineering specifications and office standards as they apply to specific designs.
Ability to design and interpret electrical schematics as it applies to electrical enclosure design.
Design electrical hardware for variable frequency drives and automation packages, including operator stations, remote IO cabinets, controller cabinets, low voltage AC and DC drive packages.
Create detailed electrical designs using AutoCAD, E-Plan, and/or Creo, based on provided specifications and working collaboratively with other engineers.
Directly support manufacturing builds, ensuring smooth production processes and timely delivery of products.
Interface with other engineers to gather requirements, understand project objectives, and develop effective solutions.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.
Selects standard components and hardware for designs.
Prepares bills of material, so that in conjunction with electrical schematics and mechanical layouts the factory has a full for manufacture package.
Maintains all manufacturing documentation and information.
