About the Role

As a member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing and developing innovative power electronic systems and automation packages.

Responsibilities

  • Interprets customer and engineering specifications and office standards as they apply to specific designs.
  • Ability to design and interpret electrical schematics as it applies to electrical enclosure design.
  • Design electrical hardware for variable frequency drives and automation packages, including operator stations, remote IO cabinets, controller cabinets, low voltage AC and DC drive packages.
  • Create detailed electrical designs using AutoCAD, E-Plan, and/or Creo, based on provided specifications and working collaboratively with other engineers.
  • Directly support manufacturing builds, ensuring smooth production processes and timely delivery of products.
  • Interface with other engineers to gather requirements, understand project objectives, and develop effective solutions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.
  • Selects standard components and hardware for designs.
  • Prepares bills of material, so that in conjunction with electrical schematics and mechanical layouts the factory has a full for manufacture package.
  • Maintains all manufacturing documentation and information.
