About the Role
Demonstrate leadership in communicating Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) goals, programs, and processes for multiple manufacturing shops.
Responsibilities
- Utilize experience and expertise to solve problems, execute objectives, and positively impact business goals.
- Partner with shop managers, supervisors, and safety/ergonomic team leaders to integrate EHS functions with site operations.
- Develop and work with employee committees focused on Ergonomics, Safety, Security, and related areas to drive improvements.
- Perform audits with respect to chemical management, housekeeping, work rule compliance, and related areas.
- Maintain and implement EHS programs and procedures to ensure compliance with GE Vernova requirements and government regulations.
- Ensure all state and federal regulatory reports meet deadlines, fees are paid on time, and communicate with regulators/contractors.
- Administer compliance tracking programs and recordkeeping systems.
- Follow up with injury reports and keep records of incidents.
- Collect, clean, and analyze data to create relevant EHS reports.
- Develop and administer EHS education programs.
- Act as site lead for EHS systems and tools.
