Responsibilities

• 1-year program combining on-the-job training with coursework through local community college.
• On-the-job training will include rotations in Unit Assembly, Rotor Assembly/Repair, Casings Assembly and Unit-to-Base.
• Apprentices paid for on-the-job training.
• Tuition, fees, and books will be paid by any available grants, scholarship funding and GE.
• Mentoring, teamwork, and ongoing reviews.
• Training in safety, basic measurements, tooling, assembly, print reading, and many other manufacturing processes.
• Successfully complete the program and earn a GE Vernova Gas Turbine Assembly Technician Certificate.
