About the Role

This controls engineering position in the Aero Controls Systems Technology organization is responsible for strong technical leadership to create and adapt transient models to support integration with Aero Package Software for existing and new functionalities.

Responsibilities

  • Drive customer fulfillment excellence and lead technical complex design.
  • Contribute to the Vernova Aero Gas Power business priorities while guiding the execution of complex projects.
  • Develop high fidelity models for bleed and variable geometry actuation, fuel system actuation and gas volume dynamics.
  • Implement a genetic optimization algorithm to characterize high fidelity models to a specific engine.
  • Review, analyze and test field data.
  • Adapt NPSS steady state performance models to provide them transient capabilities.
  • Develop a Simulink-NPSS simulation environment for Aero Engines.
  • Coordinate flow down of internal and external customer requirements/tasks.
