Job Description
A Finance Strategy Associate at Euclid will manage financial operations, develop financial models, support budgeting and planning, and provide analysis to drive strategic decision-making in a fast-paced, mission-driven startup focused on renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations including accounts payable, invoicing, and monthly financial close
- Develop and implement processes to streamline financial data and improve operational efficiency
- Build and manage financial models to support pricing and resource management strategies
- Support annual budgeting and planning activities
- Conduct financial analysis and manage ad-hoc projects to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Prepare and present financial reports and insights to leadership
- Support corporate operations such as insurance, legal, and compliance activities
- Assist in future fundraising processes and investor reporting
Requirements
- Have 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, FP&A financial operations, or strategic finance
- Hold a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Be analytical by nature, with strong problem-solving skills and a sharp attention to detail
- Have experience building financial models and possess advanced Excel skills
- Be an excellent communicator, able to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial teammates with clarity and confidence
- Thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and be energized by the pace of startup life
- Be highly organized, dependable, and relentless about getting the details right
- Bring humility, curiosity, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed
- Be resourceful and proactive, someone who figures things out and gets things done
