Job Description
The job involves working as part of Esri's Infrastructure account team to develop and implement geospatial technology strategies for large organizations in the electric, gas, telecom, and rail sectors. The role focuses on building customer relationships, managing sales processes, and delivering expertise to optimize the adoption of Esri technology.
Responsibilities
- •Build relationships and implement location strategies for large organizations.
- •Create new opportunities and deepen relationships within high-level accounts.
- •Participate in and present at trade shows, workshops, and seminars.
- •Demonstrate advanced industry knowledge relevant to GIS applications.
- •Identify key stakeholders and gain access to executive decision makers.
- •Articulate the value of Esri technology in the infrastructure industry.
- •Conduct research and pursue professional development for competitive knowledge.
- •Execute account management and sales processes to meet revenue goals.
- •Evaluate work contributions to customer needs.
- •Lead account strategies through collaboration with teams and partners.
- •Share knowledge and mentor team members.
Requirements
- •5 years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience.
- •Experience managing the sales cycle, creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with large customers.
- •Possess financial and business acumen to build compelling account growth strategies.
- •Advanced knowledge of GIS and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into complex solutions for customers.
- •Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and electric, gas, telecom, or rail industries as they relate to one another.
- •Expert visual storyteller and negotiator across all levels of an organization.
- •Knowledge of industry fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles.
- •Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
- •Bachelor's in GIS, surveying, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
