Job Description

The Materials Coordinator at Enviva is responsible for the planning, receiving, storage, and distribution of supplies necessary for plant operations, ensuring accurate inventory management and vendor relationships while adhering to safety regulations in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming goods including receipt, unpacking, storage, and distribution.
  • Attend counter enquiries and issue materials as requested.
  • Conduct purchases for spare parts and consumable items.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within EAM system.
  • Assist with invoice verification.
  • Develop working relationships with vendors and repair shops for parts delivery and repairs.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills in hydraulics, lubrication, and mechanical equipment.
  • Read technical diagrams and schematics.
  • Operate mobile equipment such as forklift and Lull.
  • Complete training as required by Supervisor.

Requirements

  • At least two (2) years experience in parts, inventory, logistics or manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in hydraulics, lubrication, and mechanical equipment.
  • Basic understanding of types of lubricants and application of each.
  • Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.
  • Successful completion of training as required by Supervisor and specified by Enviva.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of all MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Willing and able to work in outdoor environments and occasionally in temperatures above 100 degrees and below 32 degrees.
  • Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment.
  • Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment.
  • Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day.
  • Willing and able to work around moving equipment and machinery.
  • Willing and able to pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
